Abstract

This paper proposes an approach of the main problems faced by the Danube riparian countries. This is also achieved from the perspective of Romania. The riparian countries are currently facing a great dispersion from an economic, social, political, and religious points of view. This phenomenon is reflected both in economic indicators, such as: GDP per capita, population structure on social environments, level of corruption, as well as in social ones such as: life expectancy, Internet use, the level of deaths caused by certain diseases etc. These indicators are those that this study tries to analyze  from the perspective of the big differences between countries. In this regard we use graphic and statistical methods. We mention that the whole trial is achieved with R Studio software, which besides the fact that it is free license, it has the advantage that it is special useful for treating the theme. In this respect, we support the promotion of this software, which is also used by many academic medium around the world. If the main ascertainment of this paper is that the riparian countries have great economic and social differences, the solution we are advancing is the need for cooperation between countries. It is true that the countries belong to different groups because of historical links, but the establishment of a free trade area of cooperation is considered opportune.
