Danubius International Conference Centre announces the 2nd Edition of the International Conference The Danube - Axis of European Identity  

The 2nd Edition of DAIE Conference, organized by Danubius University of Galati, Romania, in collaboration with Cahul State University “B.P.Hasdeu”, Republic of Moldova and Izmail State Liberal Arts University, Ukraine, will be held in Cahul, at the seat of Cahul State University “B.P.Hasdeu”, Republic of Moldova, on June 29, 2012.

The central theme of this series of events focuses on the Danubian scientific research. The participants, academics and researchers, meet yearly, on the International Danube Day (June 29), in order to exchange information and to conceptually debate the wide range of Danubian issues. The purpose of the Annual International Conference The Danube - Axis of European Identity  is to provide a forum for exchange of ideas and research outcomes on themes such as: Danubian Economy, River Law, Europeism, Communication, Local Communities, Danubian History and Mentality.

Mobilizing experts from different fields, The Conference being part of the The Center for Danubian Studies and Research and Cross-border Cooperation regards interdisciplinarity as a goal of university research.

 

The DAIE 2012 Conference advances for discussion the following main sections:

  1. Danubian Economy;
  2. River Legislation;
  3. Europeity and Europeism;
  4. Communication and Spirituality;
  5. Local Communities;
  6. History, Mentality and Imagology.

The conference official languages are English, French, Russian, Romanian

 PAPERS PUBLISHING:

All accepted papers will be published in the Journal of Danubian Studies and Research, under the ISSN reference 2284 – 5224.
 

DEADLINES:

Preliminary Paper Submission: April 16th, 2012 April 30th, 2012, May 7th, 2012

Notification of acceptance: May 22nd, 2012

Final paper Submission for the journal: June 1st, 2012

Registration as participant: June 12th, 2012
